The room wasn't that bad,every light fixture in the whole room only had one bulb that work on it, the bathroom ceiling looked as if it was going to fall down, and the tub faucet had corroded away at the opening. So other than the thought of...

The hotel was pretty clean and updated. The shower was awesome. No elevator so the stairs were very tiring. No breakfast or coffee that was a disappointment! The parking was terrible, we had to find our own parking which was about 4 city blocks...

Completely disorganized. No breakfast available despite the claims to it. No vending machines either. They also conveniently "lost" a check (after they cashed it, they lost all record of it). Then they charged my credit card for the already paid...

The location of this hotel is fantastic, a mere three blocks from all attractions and ambiance that the Jackson Square area can offer. There are tons of restaurants, galleries and shopping within easy walking distance of the hotel.

No parking available, besides the street (if you're lucky for that). Key did not work on any rooms, so the front desk person had to keep letting us into our own room...pay all that money and no self governing with entrance into your own room!!!!...

I have stayed at the Hotel Royal 3 times now I keep Wanting to try other places, But for the $$ and the LOCATION (1 blk off Burbon St) and the warmth of the staff. Can't be beat.....I'm sure my next trip to New Orleans... I'll stay there again....
