Located in the center of Manhatten, this hotel has a beautiful lobby and makes a great first impression. It's just steps from Fifth Avenue shopping, the Broadway Theater District and Times Square, and New York's nightlife. The rooms and suites are spacious and comfortable, with very luxurious bathrooms. The theme of the hotel is transoceanic travel but some may find the corridors and atmosphere a little dark - there's not a huge amount of natural light there. The hotel restaurant '44,' serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is quite a chic place to enjoy a meal. There's also a nice bar, and in the lobby is a 20-foot long marble Library Table, which is apparently quite a hangout area for New York's literary set. There's a 24 hour gym and there are personal trainers available on request. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

Located in Midtown Manhattan between Times Square and Rockefeller Center, the Royalton, a Morgans Original broke ground for the concept hotel in New York City, 15 miles from La Guardia Airport. Rennovated in 2007 by New York design firm Roman and Williams, The Royalton, a Morgans Original's spectacular lobby stretches an entire block. A cast-bronze fireplace creates a warm glow in the hotel's lobby. The location is just off Fifth Avenue, less than two blocks from Madison Avenue's designer boutiques, and two blocks from the bright lights of Broadway. Brasserie 44 offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy drinks in the lobby or Bar 44. The kid-friendly hotel offers welcoming gifts to children and soft drinks or juice and popcorn. Parents also can receive board games and coloring books for their children. The Royalton, a Morgans Original offers valet parking, concierges, room service, business center, high speed wireless Internet and a fitness facility. The hotel has 142 guestrooms. Rooms are reminiscent of cabins, with porthole windows and built-in storage. The rooms include wall-to-wall banquettes, minibars, deluxe bedding with Italian cotton linens, televisions, iPod docking stations and dual-line phones bedside and in the bathroom. Bathrooms feature slate and glass-walled showers or large, custom bathtubs.

Stayed at the Royalton hotel for 9 nights with the first night through the IGOUGO special. Hotel has a great location about 2 blocks from Times Square. Unlike another reviewer's opinion, the area did not appear at all "slightly seedy" to me or my...

24 Hours In NY...the best part.
The hotel allowed an early check in.
From the moment we walked into the hotel an ethereal calm drifted into us. It felt like we were in an undersea world, subdued lighting, blues, whites, stark...

The Royalton Hotel is a fantastic, trendy, hotel in a superb location. The entrance is "unmarked" so you have to look to find it. But it gives the hotel a special feel. The lobby has a great atmosphere and is the kind of place you want to hang out...

On specific request of the Royalton, we were asked not to show photos. The Royalton sits on West 44th Street in a totally recessed fashion, sandwiched between two buildings. Its façade bears no number, and its name is etched into the stone which ...

We stepped out of our taxi into the slightly seedy night air of 44th street. No sign heralded our destination, but we knew our way: this is where you go when you don''t want to be seen. Past the unmarked door made of rich, dark wood, we entered a...

Very cool. Very dark. Very trendy. Great nightlife. Would be an ideal spot for couples. A stay up all night, sleep all day kind of place. Small rooms -- but then everything in New York -- space wise -- seemed small.

We really enjoyed the Royalton. An acknowledged masterpiece of French designer Philippe Starck, it manages to be cutting-edge modern, stylish, whimsical, and very comfortable.

I have stayed here now 6 or 7 times and it never disappoints me. Coming from the other side of the world and checking into the Royalton gives you the instant New York experience. From the fantastic bar running the length of the lobby all the way to...
