The old town is known as 'pueblo' as the people of the town call it. An amazing stretch of wall dating back to the 16th century and perfectly preserved, forms the heart of the town. There are spectacular churches to see and visit in this area, as well as monumental bridges and architecture. 1206FG. It is a recent construction. The name of the parador, which is 'don pedro de estopinan', is a reference to the knight commander of the ducal house of medina-sidonia, who conquered the town in 1497.
