Royal St. Charles Hotel Hotel - Page 1

We stayed at the Royal St Charles for Mardi Gras 2007. The two rooms we booked were supposed to be doubles, but instead were singles. No king bed, but full beds. The rooms were nice, but small.

When I called the front desk about this mix-up in room type, the front desk told me "Sorry, it's Mardi Gras" and offered to bring extra blankets. For $200/night/room they brought one extra pillow and pne extra blanket to sleep on the floor. It was totally unacceptable.

Not only was the staff not helpful, but they bordered on rude and put out. Every time I asked for something (more blankets and more pillows, since we were sleeping on the floor) the front desk got huffy and acted put out. Who's the customer here? For the money, you should stay at a different hotel, either one of the W Hotels would be much better.
