The room was disgusting. There was black mold in the bathroom which looked like it had made a large hole at the base of the wall. The room had a terrible odor and it was masked by an automatic intermittent squirt of a sickening floral air freshener.

Disgusting!!!!!!! I was horrified, when I woke up and discovered the blood-engorged insects crawling BED BUGS!!! I was infested by hundreds of bed bugs during a stay there.. Awful, Place… Please oh please do not stay there. No matter how cheep the room may be... I have over 20 bites all over my body. Royal Lodge is infested with bed bugs.!!!!!!!

wow what a great location had a 1st floor room with a window toward white horse pike and the beautiful view of the bay. hotel on east white horse pike and there is no construction across the street just a beautiful view. hotel is ok thought clean room, lil small, broken microwave and fridge and stinky bathroom, the shower was leaking and did not drain properly, exhaust fan worthless. but good points again beautiful view from 1st floor, 5-10 min drive to all casinos and boardwalk and groceries or restaurants .
