Royal Kuhio Hotel

While many of the units in this property are very nice, some are very substandard. The units are handled by several different booking agencies.

If you book here, do not use Hawaiian Condo Resorts Inc. The unit we were rented had the following problems: ripped sheets on the bed, torn curtains that were stapled to the wall so they could not be opened, a toilet that would not flush, a unit that had not been updated in more than 20 years, and a strange odor in the room.

When we asked for another room, the told us nothing was available. They also charge extra fees for just about everything including a processing fee when they return your room deposit.

The hotel was in a great location. It was close to the beach and also to the international market. I liked how the rooms were set up, especially that there was a kitchen in the room. It was very clean and a convenient place to stay. The worst part was getting there with the one-way streets.

It was the perfect distance from the beach. Within walking distance, but not right there. It was private had a beautiful view of the canal.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The hotel made me feel at ease because of the way we could go in and out without questions or even people noticing. But we were secure at the same time because of the security cards that we had.
