i am a 46 year old mother of 4 teenagers,i have stayed at this motel 6 or 7 weekends this year 2007.ehhhh yes i am from canada and trust me we get snow,this motel was 100 times better than the ones i seen in buffalo ny. the owners were friendly and if i asked for something i got it right away,the view at the back where i stayed was awesome i sat on a chair one morning,and saw a deer later 2 little bunnies.it was not noisy it was peaceful,the owners were friendly,as well gave us till 1pm to be out no charge,i had great air in the sumer and great heat in the winter,ever stop to think a guest may have removed the knobs for heat,tell the owner before you cry me a river.if you want to be waited on hand and foot,stay in a hotel the owners are not there to take care of your children as parents you should bring those things with you. tell people the problems so they can get them fixed,i have called from Canada and my room was always clean,even if i got there at 2 am the owner was great saying its ok we are open,ice was there coffee tea was there in the office just had to go get it....i would recommend this motel to every one, thanks for the great stay,and when needed giving me direcions on my 1st stay.

thanks for alll the great weekends i will be back next year as will many of my friends and family i told them about what a great place was like the country in the city. shirley and mike ' ehhhh you know we're from canada.

snow means hockey another great canadian past time. lol

The heat controls on the heater were removed and the heater appeared to have been hard wired so adjustments could not be made (was looking for some way to shove a pen or something down there to turn the heat up). There was a wisp of heat coming out of the register and since it was snowing outside the room was freezing cold.... hello- this is Rochester.

The air conditioner had been sealed shut in plywood. I think these guys are struggling to make ends meet or are just too cheap to pay the utility bill associated with being a hotel owner.

The room was extremely noisy- lots of traffic going by and not much sound insulation.

On the plus side. The room was neat and clean- just plan on bringing lots of warm clothes if staying in the winter time, lots of light clothing if staying in the summer and earplugs for the noise.

It was very clean and had a very friendly staff. There was a pleasant view of treetops from the room. The location of the hotel is convenient.

This hotel made me feel respected: The concierge helped us with directions and was just plain friendly and human.
