I love the Florida charm that this place provides. I might add that includes keeping children under control as well as their parents. The beach was great and everything is close by. There is no reason to drive anywhere unless you want too. I would remind everyone that all timeshare/condos on the beach take a real beating from the weather and the tenants. I had a noisy fan in the bedroom and it was replaced the next day. Service with a smile. One can hardly blame the management for getting testy when the occasional tenant does not know proper manners or how to speak politely. I never did see a negative attitude when I was there for two weeks. Thanks staff.

I give this place a big zero for cleaniness...the one we rented was filthy and had never been updated. I dont know what standards of living people have that return here but I can tell you they are not even close to being normal. The bathroom sink was stopped up the whole time we were there and if they came to fix it we were not there and not updated why it was not fixed. I happened to open a door that I thought was a closet in the bedroom and instead it was the furnace. The only thing keeping it standing from the rust was all the strings of dust and everything else it attracts. Very disturbing!

I have been going to the RBC with my folks since I was barely able to walk and hope to be able to bring any children I may have. The two women that run the RBC are strict when it comes to respecting the wants and needs of the masses not just those families who feel their kids should be able to be loud EVEN in the middle of the afternoon. I will thank the women again this year for helping to create a quiet atmosphere for my vacation. The condos may not be the most updated in decor however for a Michigander it gives you the feel of a lake house upnorth!! I love this place and consider it a second home. Thanks to the RBC and all the memories!

My husband and I have stayed here many times. On some occasions, we have brought our kids and their friends as well. WE were always treated wonderfully by the 2 ladies up front. Maybe the complaining lady should teach her children to be polite and respectful of others peace and quiet. Just because it's the middle of the day, I do not want children running around loud and acting rude during my vacation. I don't allow my kids to act up and don't expect others too as well. The beach area is for rough play - not the pool where someone could get hurt. Kudos to the staff for keeping this a nice and friendly but also moderately restful place!!! The rooms are very nice, the amenities are plentiful and the price is great for what you are getting. We will definetely go back.

We have stayed at the Royal Beach Club for several years with family up until June of 2003. Although the accomadations are nice (could be updated!) and the location wonderful, it was the staff that caused us not to return! They were very rude and unprofessional. We had 5 units rented and were treated very poorly from the moment we checked in. We were harrassed for our children being too loud in the pool (and this was during the Day!), to the staff complaining about having to fix a broken washer in one of our units. After 3 days of this we all asked for our money back and wanted to leave. We were not the only ones harrassed for other vacationers staying there were harrassed as well. We have stayed at other resorts on Ft Myers Beach since and have never had a problem. Whoever owns these units should really consider hiring a new management company or get rid of the ladies doing the job now ( they are still there for we called hoping that since it has been a few years they would be gone but they are not). If you are looking for an enjoyable, relaxing stay with family....this is NOT the place.
