Excellent
My family had so much fun staying at this hotel. A very unique experience for everyone. All the memorabelia, and the staff was so helpful, even when I had questions at 2am. The Diner they have was outstanding, especially the weekend we stayed, all...
I booked my daughter's wedding reception here for August 2008 and two months later I am STILL trying to get things straightened out. I had nothing but problems with this hotel beginning 3 months prior to the reception date. Too late to book another ...
From the minute I got to the hotel, I did not receive a good impression. First off the bat, they told me they did NOT have my hotel reservation because their computers were down. Then they tried to charge me $85/night instead of the $72 I had on my...

Good
WOW! and I Mean WOW! The amount of memorabilia in this place is amazing, from full scale Ford's from the early 1900's in the lobby to 1942 Sunbeam Motorcycle in a glass display case. Not to mention the Triumph that a local Steel guy used to race....

Horrible
I went to this hotel for a collector car event, the one 2 years ago was great, but the management or ownership has changed since. The place was dirty, the service was horribly understaffed, the pool was being reconditioned, we waited 45 minutes to...

Mediocre
While attending a weekend function with family and friends, (138 guests total) informed by convention coordinator/staff that hotel management was refusing to serve our group the evening banquet demanding more than the previously agreed upon price...
this hotel is not worth the visit in to the lobby to see the "Gift Shop", which consists of a 3 ft display case. Don't be fooled by the cute little gas station 60's style out front, or the old cars. It is overpriced, the advertised restaurant was closed at 5 PM on a Sunday, our room had feces on the toilet when we arrived, and there were carpet tacks sticking out of the frayed carpet at the entrance to the bathroom, I now have two holes in my heel from them. It was a horrible experience and one I would not want anyone else to have to endure. Stay Away! there are plenty of more reasonably priced hotels in the Springfield area and ones that are much cleaner and nicer.
Everything was exceptional! I have no complaints with anything. Very friendly staff and the restaurant was worth the money, the menu items were very fair priced and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying...
48 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Bad experience here. Will never stay again, dirty carpet, scratched up counter, slow service, cold food, complained and received a hateful attitude. Overpriced for quality. Worst hotel experience.
I am not likely
to return to the Route 66 Hotel And Conference Center.
I would not recommend it to friends.
