Welcome to the Rosehill Inn, located in the heart of Wilmington's historic district. This beautiful house was built in 1848 by Henry Russell Savage, a prominent Wilmington businessman and banker. It was also the home of Henry Bacon, Jr., architect of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Rosehill Inn has been meticulously restored as an elegant, yet comfortable, bed and breakfast with an appealing mix of historic craftsmanship, antiques, fine fabrics and beautiful gardens. Each of the large, luxurious guest rooms has been individually designed and decorated. The amenities in each room include a private bath, cable TV, downy-soft comforter, large fluffy towels, and plush robes. Step outside and be surrounded by the Victorian charm of Wilmington's renovated riverfront. The historic district provides abundant opportunities for fine dining, outstanding entertainment, and unique shopping. The sparkling blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean, wide beaches, and world-class golf courses are within a 20 minute drive from the inn. Rosehill was awarded AAA three diamond award and Historic Wilmington Foundation interior restoration award in 1996. "This no ordinary B&B"
