Car Security is Terrible

60 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We were scheduled to stay for 2 nights but when we came back from dinner, we were advised that our car had been broken into. What we discovered was that the Rosedale on Robson is an easy target for people to break into cars. Anyone can have access to the parking garage which should be unacceptable!!!!
We also discovered that management does not take security seriously when we were told car breakin's happen all over the city of Vancouver.
I have personally stayed at quite a few hotels in Vancouver over the past 30 years and security for cars is the most lax I have ever seen.
Even after our car was broken into, we had no choice but to check out as the hotel could not promise us that our other car would not be broken into also. So our vacation was cut short at around 10 pm when we drove back to Oregon a 5 1/2 hr drive.
I will never again stay at a hotel in the City of Vancouver when I judge the hotel has inadequate security for my car.
