Their website says "hi-speed internet" and the sign going in says "free wi-fi" but they have none: the clerk said sometimes certain rooms can get a signal from somewhere. I asked to leave as soon as I found this out (five minutes after check-in) but as I had moved a pillow, the clerk said I had used the room. Not clean, not friendly, false advertising.
Probably constructed pre-1970 and decorated around the 80's, the motel was hideous inside and out! The desk clerk was not a native English-speaker and was not interested in customer service. Room was filthy--there were hairs on the bedding, coffee rings on the microwave and the floors had not been swept. The windows wouldn't latch securely. My husband had to fix the old-fashioned wall heater to get it going. More than half the buttons on the phone were broken and missing. Cars and trains passing incessantly sounded like they were right on top of us. Walls and doors were so thin you could hear others outside. Do yourself a favor--drive on by the Roadway Inn!

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn for a few nights in September and loved our stay. The rooms are very tidy and have a microwave and fridge in the room. There is also restaurants in walking distance to the property and the rate was unbeatable!
Not really a tourist hotel, it's more

Okay
Not really a tourist hotel, it's more of a stop for parents visiting their kids at Northern Arizona University. You don't get the feel they'll go out of their way to make it special either.
