23 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I stayed at this property back in early July of 2007. For the most part, I enjoyed it. I was traveling with my aunt and cousin. We booked one room with two queen beds. Upon check-in, we were given a map that told us how to make our way to the back of the hotel about a half mile away. The receptionist said all queen bedded rooms were on that side of the property. I must say I am glad I stayed back there. It was quiet and peaceful, but there were no other guests lodging out there, so we were a little worried. The original property was built in 1978, but the newer added queen bed rooms were finished sometime after the year 2000. Our room was clean with good linens and mattresses. The bathroom was nicely done, although the bath wasn't much. There was no hot water and we had a wimpy shower head. The bar latch on our room door was missing its hook, so we secured the deadbolt and stuck a chair up against the door at night for extra safety. I have to be blunt about the breakfast...it stunk. There was ice water and some bagels. We didn't arrive later in the morning, so it's not like they had run out of anything good.
For the most part, I had a pleasant stay and would go back, and would request to stay in the newer building a second time.
