Good
Bentley's on the ground floor of the Boulder Broker Inn serves up a good breakfast and a very good brunch. Morning fare is definitely the strength at this restaurant but they are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The staff was nice enough but this hotel is a mess. My door wasn't working and had to wait to be let into my room, the a/c wasn't working, I couldn't get extra towels, the water in my shower was not hot and the room itself was kind of dirty. And this was on one of the newly renovated floors! I would hate to see the floors that have not been renovated. They also just closed the restaurant w/no notice to customers and the bar is always closing early!! I also had a light not working in my room and had to ask for new batteries for the remote control in my room!!
I see that they have lowered their prices since my stay but honestly $40 would be too much for the treatment you get at this hotel. I definitely recommend that this hotel be avoided at all costs and if you do stay, just be aware of what you are in for.

Okay
I really wanted to like this place. I read the bad reviews, but I thought, "No, our trip will be different!" Of course, I was wrong. For our Valentine's weekend, two couples embarked on this trip to Boulder, and we both booked rooms in this hotel....

I came back in early 2007 because on my previous visit, 12 years ago, this was a really nice hotel. Apparently the rooms have been unchanged in the intervening years. There was only lukewarm water from the shower, and the heating system was...

Mediocre
The two rooms I experienced were unclean (McDonalds wrappers rolled up and sitting on top of the TV stand, pillow cases and bedsheets probably not changed--found long black hairs on the pillow and I am a blond balding guy). The food in the...

Good
This is a nice elegant victorian-style hotel centrally located for Boulder visitors. This hotel has a nice restaurant and hot breakfast was wonderful. I found the bathroom nice and clean.
