NO Parking – Posted Jul 17, 2008

Mediocre

We've booked a weeks stay here. But each night although the sign says no vacancy, there is not enough parking. Tonight there was NONE. We're from out of town, all the way from Washington DC, and although the value is great, if you spend money for a...

The worst frontdesk person I've ever ... – Posted Jan 22, 2008

Horrible
32 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

When we tried to add one more night of stay, the front desk personnel said their credit card machine doesn't work at that time and only cash would do. So, my friend went out of her way to find some ATM and get some cash. When she came back to the front desk and paid for the extended night, the lady won't issue a receipt til the next day. We demanded a receipt after she got the money, but she said that it would cost us $3 more if she issues a receipt at that time. When we told her that it is illegal not to issue a receipt for something you paid for, she gave us back our money, told us to just leave and that there is no room anymore - illegal eviction!

Supposedly, a hotel is a place where you can relax. But what the lady did was so much inconvenience for us. She made us pack our things and told us to leave, just because she wants the money without issuing a receipt. And our appointments got screwed up because of the time we spent looking for an ATM, packing our stuff, and looking for another place to stay.

Luckily, we found a nicer and cheaper hotel which is just a block away with warm front desk personnel, as well.

Find somewhere else to stay! – Posted Nov 19, 2006

You do not want to stay here. I paid for my room which was $72 total. I went inside, sat down on the bed, my friend used the restroom, washed her hand and then pushed the power button on the TV. The TV wouldn’t turn on. We called the front desk and the "manager/owner" said the handyman isn't here today.

We asked if there was another available room, because I mean, come on, when you pay for the room you're paying for all the amenities that come with it. She said the only available room was like $20 more than the room I paid for. We asked if we could get it for the same price we paid for because we wouldn't want another room if the TV was working. She said "No" and that she'd rather give us a refund. So we asked for a refund. She said she needed to check the room first. She looks inside our room and says, "Oh, you sat on the bed and you used the bathroom. I cannot give you a full refund." I paid $72 for my room. My friend and I were there nowhere near more than an hour and the owner/manager gave me a refund of "$36!" $36 refund when we were there less than an hour, just because we sat on the bed and used the restroom! Ridiculous! You can find any place better than this place for the same price or cheaper.

Okay

Booked room day I got there. It was $55 a night for 3 nights. It was a pretty good location. The staff was a bit ignorant. They were very demanding about cleaning the room, cause I told them to stay out of my room during my stay. The pool isn't ...

The front desk staff is disorganized, rude, and tells lies. The price is not what is advertised on the website. The staff said this was 5 or 6 years old and advised me just to try to make a reservation there and see if I could get the advertised...
