Not a good experience

44 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed at the Roadway International on 4/1 thru 4/4.
At that time we were stuck in the middle of two high school groups from two different high schools. The noise in the hallway was terrible. The noise lasted from about 10 pm when we got back in to somewhere around two or three in the morning. One of the chaperones put a chair outside our room door and sat there like Mother Hubbard. On our first night I complained about the group in the hallway and the noise.
We complained to the management and to security repeatedly. Nothing was done. On our last night I went into the hallway and spoke to all the chaperones and students and begged them to be quiet.
On our last night there, we were offered a room change. We did not want to move everything at 9 pm for one night. I asked why we were not offered a room change on the morning of our first complaint. I was never answered. I asked for compensation and was refused any. I asked why we were stuck in the middle of these 2 groups. Not answered. I asked why at check in we were not notified of this condition and offered a room change. Still, no answer.
I also found that the hot water was not very hot. I commented about that on the first morning. Their response "We will send an engineer to look at it."
