FIRST THEY LOST OUR RESERVATION, FINALLY GOT TO THE ROOM AND UNPACKED JUST TO NOTICE THAT THE ADJOINING ROOM DOOR LOCK WAS BROKEN SO THEY OTHER GUESTS HAD FULL ACCESS TO OUR ROOM!! TRIED TO CALL THE FRONT DESK AND THE PHONE WAS BROKEN! AFTER RUNNING DOWNSTAIRS TO COMPLAIN, WAS TOLD SORRY AND OFFERED A SMOKING ROOM ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOTEL....SO BACK TO PACKING THE CAR AGAIN TO ARRIVE IN A ROOM WITH BUGS ON THE FLOOR AND DIRTY SHEETS! WE REALLY WEREN'T BEING PICKY AFTER A DAY THAT STARTED AT 6AM DRIVING FROM NYC AND A FULL DAY AT HERSHEY PARK WITH 3 KIDS, JUST SOMEWHERE DECENT. ALSO OVERHEARD ANOTHER GUEST COMPLAINING ABOUT NO WATER IN HER ROOM!!! THEY JUSTIFIED THIS BY SAYING IT WAS RECENTLY RENOVATED!!!CALLED EVERY HOTEL IN THE AREA AND FINALLY AT 2AM ENDED UP IN QUALITY INN ON LINCOLN HWY. WHICH IS A WONDERFUL PLACE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Horrible
if only we had read all the other comments before we went, nothing has improved 2007-12-09, we are looking for a government agency to complain to. All the earlier comments are still true, 100 words are too few to describe how bad this place is.

Like others have said this was on the worst list for motels, i have also heard from local relatives that there was a drug bust there at some point which i was not surprised to find after staying there. Do not stay here. I wish 0 was a rating choice.

I believe this site was being updated. It had advertised a walking path and there was not one. I enjoyed the two pools, the pool table and the air hockey. The ice machine did not work properly. Most of the time, they were empty and we had to use the bar to get ice. Upon arrival, our card did not work to get us into our room and we had to switch rooms.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Rodeway Inn Lancaster.
I might recommend it to friends.

We checked in, the lobby looked clean...here's a tip, make sure you look at the room before paying the hotel clerk. The hallway, the room, the bathroom....all were filthy! The floors hadn't been vacuumed in a very long time, the TV stand was leaning because the leg was broken, the lamps did not work, the bathtub was dirty, the refrigerator was filthy, and the access door to the courtyard was unlocked. The room smelled musty and we were afraid to sleep under the blanket so we decided to check out. The clerk first moved us to another room because the heater in this room was chattering so loud, the second room was just as bad. He offered to put us in one of the best rooms for the same price but it was not any better. The hotel clerk seemed irritated that we chose to leave but did remove the charge from my credit card. Although it did cost more, we checked into a motel that was clean. The clerk at this motel told us that Days Inn had been rated the 4th dirtiest motel in the country and had an article published last year locally about how dirty is it. Do yourself a favor, pay an extra $20 and stay somewhere else!

It needs a lot of work. There was no power in the bathroom. The shower water lever fell apart during a shower. Paint and spackle on the bathroom floor. Missing dowel for the toilet paper, had to put on floor. Not a good value for the money.

Mediocre
We booked a non-smoking room, but were given a room with multiple ash trays - there were ashes around the room and the carpet did not look like it has seen a vacuum in a while. There was no remote control for the TV, there was noc clock in the room, ...

Disgusting is too nice of a word for this horrible place. Everything was dirty. The blow dryer literally burned up in my hand when I turned it on. There were bugs and worms on the floor. There were bats flying around the freezing cold pool. The only hope for this hotel is a bulldozer! Do not stay here!
