Do not be tempted by the low prices at this place. You get less than you pay for. The elevator is ancient and does not always work. The rooms are old (not quaint) and the furnishings are substandard. The staff was not at all helpful at resolving problems.

Its an old, small hotel, with minimal refurbishment, but terrific location at a very good price. Its right in the heart of center city Philadelphia for less than $100/night double occupancy.

The best value was the location, which was central Philadelphia. It was within walking distance to the Constitution Hall and other historical sites. Otherwise, it was a rather ordinary facility, though with pleasant staff.
