Good
The Rodeway Inn may not be the most up to date hotel, but it was cute, clean, and the service was exceptional. They had a wine and cheese bar during happy hour (although it was not nearly as fancy as that sounds!) the AC was not so great so I had to ...
34 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
When we arrived we were greeted by a wonderful front desk clerk. The Elevator was out of order, luckily we were just on the second floor and they had it fixed the very next day. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. There are no smoking rooms available at this hotel or any building in Philadelphia for that matter. I just climbed out my window onto the adjacent roof and smoked, or went down stairs to the street. They had complimentary toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and razor, shampoo/conditioner and soap. Blow dryer and Iron/Ironing board. There was also a big TV, microwave, safe and refrigerator (bottled water included free). There is a computer with internet access in the lobby for guests to use. Brandi at the front desk was a very friendly, very helpful young woman. She gave us tips, advice and made us feel right at home laughing and joking with us. The location is just perfect. It's within walking distance to the Liberty Bell, Mint, Mutter Museum, many restaurants and bars and many other "sightseeing" attractions and local places to see/do. I would definatley stay there again!!

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room, although small, was very clean and updated - including a fridge, microwave, and complementary bottles of water, toothpaste, toothbrush, and other toiletries.
The parking across the street was affordable and convenient. The elevator is a little old fashioned, but anyone who can follow directions should have no problem with it.
It's in a great location, tons of restaurants, and near lots of buses- so very easy to get around.

Horrible
I would not have disliked my stay if the staff wasn't so discourteous. I was in Philly for business, and New Years Day, and the majority of hotels were booked during my time of reservation. Therefore, as soon as I entered the establishment, I asked ...

Billed a non-smoker $150 for smoking in room charge, non-receptive and rude to query about same. No hot water and not corrected after complaint to front desk. Don't try the elevator.
