Horrible
This hotel is just terrible. The rooms condition was just awful. From the horrible smell to the stains on the carpets and sheets. I found dead bugs stuck to the walls and the furniture is junk. I would not even give this hotel one star. Dont ruin...

Room smelled like urine, carpet filthy with stains on top of dirt, host of dead flies on windowsill, we would have felt safer sleeping on the street, bathroom floor dirty. Pool cloudy, who knows from what... No value at this motel...

Horrible
There was absolutly no hot water at all for showers or hand washing, wouldnt even become warm after running for 20min. When informed at the front desk got blown off.

Just not good.... The hotel was just plain disappointing. I wasn't looking for anything great, just a decent little place to stay because I was expecting to crash as soon as I hit the bed after a full day at Cedar Point. I must say, the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly - but that is about the only positive thing I have to say about the hotel. We pulled into the hotel and were disappointed by its decidedly roach motelesque look, but decided that didn't matter - we just needed someplace to crash. So we entered the room and flopped down on the rock hard bed, although that didn't last long as a sudden scream got me up to kill a huge spider. After laying about for a little while I got up to get some ice from the machine, but that was of course empty... no ice. Oh well. Went back to the room, went to sleep. Got up in the morning and was surprised that there was no shampoo/body lotion which have been standard in every hotel I've ever been in. They did have two bars of deodarant body soap. I've never before felt inspired to leave a review, but I just wish I had read something like this before booking the room. Oh well. Oh yeah, another thing that has been at every hotel I've been in but was conspicously missing here... a simple clock radio... wow.
I am not likely
to return to the Rodeway Inn Cedar Point South.
I would not recommend it to friends.
