Where can you find a hotel that has a very warm family atmosphere and who is always catering to your needs with a constant smile on their faces? I'll tell you where, the Rodeway Inn (formerly Executive Inn) in Barstow just fits the ticket! Conviently located and surrounded by many restuarants and a very good view on the second floor, this hotel is close to the freeway but far enough from the noise. Very clean rooms and nice staff. Must stay here and will always recommend!

Traveling from Toronto, Canda through southern U.S. particulary California, we have stayed in many hotels. From four star Sheratons to the simple Motel 6 to many bad and fair ones, but none as great as the Rodeway Inn that we stayed at in Barstow. What a FANTASTIC little hotel that accomadated to our every needs with always a smile on their faces. Our stay here was much enjoyable than the stay in a Sheraton down in San Diego. Our most memorable experience here at the Rodeway Inn was the warm atmosphere and the spottless rooms with really soft new carpet! This is a must stay here in Barstow. If anyone should differ than they obviously don't like a cheery staff!
Rooms are clean and welcoming, property is clean and safe, staff is kind an courteous! Staff go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and relaxed. We stayed in a room that was more like a studio apartment complete with a kitchen, as we needed temporary housing. The appliances and furniture were all new and in perfect working condition. I would definately recommend to any and everyone.

It was a very late Friday night driving from Utah. We were very tired and decided to stay the night in Barstow. Driving up the street, we noticed the Rodeway Inn.
We decided to stay the night there because of the AAA discount. When checked in, was greeted by a warm, young lady and an elderly one, supposedly the mother. Both were very professional and offered many discounts for breakfast but also suggested staying for their continental.
We walked into the room and was amazed at how luxurious and clean it was. They have very nice sized rooms with many amenities such as 65 cable channels, HBO, a refrigerator, and a microwave, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board.
We were very impressed with the remodeled bathroom and new carpet and new bedding that matches the curtains. We will stay when coming back into Barstow and our hostesses were the kindest and warmest. We will recommend and always come back
