Rocky Waters is a favorite among Gatlinburg visitors due to its convenient downtown location, first class accommodations and friendly staff. Guests enjoy private balconies overlooking the river, a choice of spacious rooms including jacuzzi suites, refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, and vcrs. We had a great time. The rooms were great, clean & well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The location was just inside Gatlinburg and we were able to walk or ride easily. We stated three nights and enjoyed them all. We really...

Good
This motel is a wonderful place to stay as you drive through Gatlinburg. Close to town yet you have a country feel with a water stream out back. Rooms were clean and area was quiet.

Mediocre
We stayed at this hotel because of it's location to Gatlinburg, the fireplace and the balcony view. However, once inside I was sadly disappointed in the upkeep of the room. The border paper was torn off the wall in places and in other places was...
Stayed here in January as the one that we stay in is closed in the winter. Was very clean and the staff was very frendly. There was 5 of us in one room (2 children)and the room did not seem small at all. Had a room that overlooked the river and the...
40 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Great for a suite on the main drag. We've stayed at Rocky Waters twice, both times in the King Suites on the main drag (newer part of the complex.) We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the river, the comfy suite with hot tub and fireplace. We were thrilled with the location, enjoying walking the strip instead of sitting in traffic all weekend. (But your room is right on the strip so there is some traffic noise during peak hours.) And there is this neat little pool on the second story (outside.) The staff wasn't remarkable either way, they were nice enough but nothing notable. Also, note that Rocky Waters is located at one end of the strip so it's not quite in the middle of everything but we just like the place.
I am very likely
to return to the Rocky Waters Inn and Suites.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
We had a family reunion with 42 children and adults. The hotel bent over backwards to make out stay enjoyable. The conference room had a piano and we had guitars---A great time was had by all. A great value for the money. Location was great for...
Our car broke down near the inn so we stayed for the night. The place was so comforting!! It was clean and incredibly relaxing. The balcony is worth the short walk to downtown. Or if your not up for a walk the trolley is only 50 cents and it will...
Rocky Waters Addition--across the bridge hugging the mountain--offers amazing solitude while being close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cozy (but large) rooms and the chance to enjoy the balcony over the river make up for the entirely too ...
