We were very pleased with the renovated Red Roof Inn in Rockford. Very good location and a very well done up grade to the motel. We liked the all inclusive king room with work area fridge and microwave. The only down side was that in the morning...

Everything was nice and clean. I had a microwave and a mini fridge that I didn't know I was going to have, and the price was very good. It was a good, comfortable room.

I like the Red Roof Inn chain since their hotels are usually near where I am going and not too expensive. I only use a hotel for sleeping so I do not need or want the expensive extras.

The accomodations were okay. Great for a short trip or for a business traveler that only has to stay for a day. For a family it is not ideal. The rooms were very small had a non-pleasant smell. I had to purchase a "plug-in" to get rid of the odor....
