Good
This hotel is an upper scale hotel that is at a good location if your traveling to Rochester for a Mayo Clinic patient. They have a wonderful discount for anyone who travels with a patient that helps out with the costs. The rooms were very clean and ...
I searched for a long time to find the hotel our family would be comfortable at while my son had appointments at the Mayo Clinic. What a disappointment! The rooms are nice. However, they are not very big. The worst thing was they way we were treated by staff. When we arrived in the rain on a Sunday: No one helped us with our bags. Once inside the staff at the front desk did not greet us. These ladies did not even say hello. It was awkward. My son was very disappointed in the pool. It was small and worst of all both the pool and the whirlpool were dirty. They did not have towels by the pool either. The first day my son had an early morning appointment. That morning at 5 a.m we heard the non-stop cries from a baby above us. We understand sometimes, there is nothing that can be done about this however, it sounded like the poor little baby was in our room! We told staff what happened and asked to be moved they refused. We had the Level 8/9 access when we went for breakfast around 7:15 and it was not ready even thought it supposed to be ready at 6:30. We were sent downstairs for breakfast and the person preparing eggs was very rude. Seriously it was as if the entire staff hates their job we cut our stay short literally checked out our experience was so awful.
Stayed here on the Club Floor while a family member was seeing doctors at Mayo Clinic. I thought it was pricey for the level of service in a non-metropolitan area. Club Floor rooms were sharp, and staff was accommodating. Absolutely the most depressing environment I've ever stayed in. Had dinner in the dining room--average hotel food. Workout area is nice, but it is in the pool area so it's very humid in there. The pool it pretty small and did not look very appealing. Overall--nice hotel with attentive staff, but pricey for the location and what you get. Next time I may try the International Hotel on the top floor of the Kahler Hotel, but am concerned about it. At least at a Marriott, you know what you are going to get.

Excellent
Rooms were very beautiful and clean. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows and white down duvets. Parking was in a shared ramp and was quite a hike. Would recommend using the valet parking. Check in was quick and easy and staff were wonderful.

The concierge service on the Club Floor was relaxing and accommodating. They had a good food and drink selection and the attendant was welcoming and enthusiastic.
