We liked having an handicapped room available and the courtesy van to the clinic. It would have been nicer, maybe, if the room had been on the ground floor, though.

I think the Days Inn where we stayed in Rochester could have some sort of discount rate for those people who are there specifically to visit the Mayo Clinic.

I felt it was practical because of the price for the room--I had a king size bed for one person and only paid $47 for the room. It had a shuttle service to the Mayo Clinic which my husband and needed. It isn't right downtown, so we didn't have to worry about paying for parking.
