Don't believe the page you get when checking in that offers to extend your room stay on the day of checkout. We checked Wednesday about the feature and were told to arrange it on Friday, the day we were to leave for home. Normal checkout time is noon, but the feature allowed an extension to 6pm to accomodate those with a late night flight home. At 10:20am, they told me they had been sold out for 3 days and a room extension was not possible. When asked why they said it was ok 2 days ago, they said it was "subject to availability," but that isn't on the printed offer. "Sorry" was all the clerk could say. My wife and I were stuck without a room for 8 hours before the shuttle came to take us to the airport at 8pm. I will not return to the Riv. The place looks old compared to other, newer hotels/casinos on the Southern end of the strip. Our room and shower were substandard too.

The Riviera hotel is a decent compromise when making your money last in Las Vegas. Food options are wide and can cover most people. The gaming area is subdued and the crowd is mixed.

This hotel made me feel practical: You can find enough to do in the Riviera hotel without driving to other Strip properties.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Riviera Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel is basically ok. But in my room there was a very noisy air conditioning unit.

The Riviera hotel is located on one end of Strip and a bus pass or taxi is recommended for traveling to other hotels. The weather in March was very cool and extremely dry, so bring moisturizer. It is a perfect gambling vacation!

This hotel made me feel important: The casino and restaurant staff was wonderful and constantly striving for excellence.

I am very likely to return to the Riviera Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel was within walking distance of a lot of the Strip. The room was comfortable. One of the outlets did not work and it was not repaired during our stay which was somewhat inconvenient for us. Almost everyone at the Riviera hotel was very nice. I would recommend it for a moderately priced place to stay if your main objective in Las Vegas is to gamble.

I am not likely to return to the Riviera Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

I requested a refrigerator for my insulin as I am a diabetic. I had to wait two days for a broken down refrigerator. I will never stay at this hotel again.

It is nice for the adult traveler. As a regular customer, I was treated very well and I felt like I was a VIP. It is a great place to stay if you want a comfortable place for a reasonable price.

This hotel made me feel content: When I arrived, my hotel room was already selected and ready for me. It took no more than a few minutes to check in.

I am very likely to return to the Riviera Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

The room was ok, but nothing fancy. I didn't like that it was at the opposite end of the strip from where most of the action generally takes place. Also, the sign on the bathroom mirror regarding disposal of hypodermic needles was a bit disturbing.

If your regular clientele requires that type of information, then my family and friends do not need to return to your hotel for another visit. The staff that we did encounter was friendly and courteous.

I am not likely to return to the Riviera Hotel and Casino.

It was a nice place to stay on the Strip for a very reasonable price. It was not as modern or updated as some of the newer resort casinos, but the value for the location is hard to beat.

This hotel made me feel excited: They made me excited when I was playing games in the casino, whether winning or losing, I was having a very good and exciting time. My wife and I both enjoyed the comedy show at the hotel as well as the selection of games.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Riviera Hotel and Casino.

The hotel was fine for a convention space, especially one where overall cost was concerned. It was not the best hotel I have ever stayed at but certainly not the worst. The convention space was quite nice and the special perks we got were very nice.
