The view is spectacular but there is little else to do but sit on the porch and look at the river and mountains. The house is nice but the stairs leading to the second floor and the stairs leading down to the bottom floor are dangerous. The stairs leading down to the bottom floor are not wide enough for an average person to walk down without turning the feet sideways. I fell my first day there and twisted my ankle and was unable to walk for two days. The bed on the bottom floor has a baseboard on it that sticks out too far and is hazardous. My sister and brother-in-law cut and bruised their shins several times. The water smells really bad! Do not drink it! We took bottled water to drink and to make tea with. The roads are hazardous and it takes forever to find the house. We were almost hit more than once traveling into town. The house is a good ways from the river and if you are not in good physical condition do not attempt to walk down. The vacation was OK, but it is not suitable for small children , the handicapped or seniors. Also, the internet did not work but 1 day. The TV on the bottom floor did not work at all.
