My family had the most wonderful time here.
We have come to Townsend for many years and stayed in a lot of other motels but this one was so friendly and made sure our family had a great time. The campfires every night were very soothing and relaxing.
We arrived very late and all restaurants were closed, but we had not eaten. The owner had prepared a meal for her family and had plenty left over and insisted that we come in and she fixed us the best spaghetti plates for the 4 of us. She served us like we were in a fine food restaurant, dessert as well. I definitely will never stay anywhere else again. This is our home away from home. The rooms were so clean and homey. More like a bedroom than a motel room.
Our children could play and go to the river anytime. It was always quiet even during the day.
