52 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Don't be fooled by the deal on the internet web page 69.95 and one night free. When we arrived the room appeared to have 2 windows but when we opened the curtains there were no windows, only mirrors. The room was clean but dimmly lit and the a/c was inadequate due to age. If you want windows in your room, be sure to ask when you call. The owner/clerk? was very unconcerned about our complaints and refused any type of refund. We were screwed out of 69.95 plus tax. We carrried our luggage in and right back out. Don't be a victim like we were. We were on a very limited vacation budget with our grandchildren for the weekend. The clerk was very rude to us. I hope he can sleep at night knowing he is taking advantage of his guests while he was also hosting a church group.
We did find a comparable price with pleasant people and a nice cool room with WINDOWS.... WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO RIVERSIDE.
The hotel is a little old and shabby, but so am I. I would have liked to have coffee in my room, but the coffee pot in the lobby was ok. The location is wonderful. We stayed there last summer. I was trying to get a newer or nicer place for this...

We have stayed here 3 times. It is a great location for walking about town, but away from the hussle/bustle. All rooms are alongside the creek, and the rushing sound of the water is relaxing. In the cool weather, the fireplace is cozy. Continental breakfast brought to your room if you want it too! It is clean, roomy and comfortable. We have never had a bad time here.

This hotel has plenty of room and is very clean. We were suprised by the overall experience, it was great!! If you have a family of up to six this sleeps six very comfortablly. The third bed room is seperated from the rest of the rooms.
