It wasn't as bad as all the reviews. We took our grandsons and enjoyed the room and the trip. Service was great. The rooms are nice but gently worn in places. The boys loved the pool. We were in walking distance of everything. The breakfast buffet was great. Don't be afraid, its ok.

Okay
Hotel is rated best for location and security. I have stayed here many times but don't expect much from the rooms. They need to be updated in furniture, carpet, and overall appearance. One of the pools was closed and the hotub was out of order. The...

the pictures look good but the actual hotel nasty. towel racks falling off the walls and toilet paper holder also falling off walls. No hot water and no water pressure. They changed our room the only thing that was ok was the water pressure and hot water. Everything else was the same NASTY. There so-called breakfast buffet was terrible and no OJ for the kids. It was more of a continental breakfast that every hotel gives you for free and we have to pay. There was also no fruit or yogurt on there buffet. A true rip off, would never go back or recommend. There are two pools but off course the one right near our room was closed. I hope this helps with people looking to stay. There are so many more nicer hotels on the strip.
I was surprising my best friend and her husband with a surprise honeymoon. At the beginning, the lady who deals with Honeymoon packages (Her name is Andrea Thone) was really nice. Well, I paid for the honeymoon package in full and made sure that it would all paid then and the lady reassured me that is was (this front desk lady does not work there anymore). Furthermore, the lady who is no longer there told me the first night was taken care of because I couldn't get ahold of anyone and had left too many messages to count...to make a long story short, that wasn't the case and I got charged another $65.70 for the honeymoon package. I have tried for the past month to get a refund for this and now they are pulling the "didn't have it in writing" so they will not give me a refund!!!
SO IF YOU PLAN ON DOING ANY HONEYMOON PACKAGE AND TALK TO ANDREA OR ANYONE, MAKE SURE YOU DICTATE ALL YOUR CONVERSATIONS AS WELL AS MAKE SURE YOU GET ANYTHING IN WRITING IF THEY OFFER TO GIVE YOU A FREE NIGHT BECAUSE YOU CAN'T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE!
If I can save one person from staying at this place, I will be pleased and further more, I hope I can stop one person from dealing with the stress and the heartache that I did.
BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL, ITS STAFF, AND MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!
Furthermore, they didn't give my friends a free night for the problems they had while they were there...my friend's husband cut his eye brow on a beer mug as well as broke his toe there as well!

This hotel looks great in pictures, but when you actually stay there you see that it is in need of a deep, detailed cleaning and that it is not a high quality facility. Everything is old and worn. Furniture is chipped. The bathroom floor is ancient and stained, so is the tub. The food in the restaurant was only lukewarm. It is rather expensive for this level of quality.

Would not stay here again. There are too many excellent places to stay in Gatlinburg to have been put in this type of hotel. Worst I've stayed in in years.

This place needs a major overhaul! We only stayed 1 night and that was enough. Never again! This place is dirty and run down and nobody there cares. I would hate to be an employee and have to hear people complaining constantly beacause they were!...
