Location. The River Palms Casino Resort is one of the most visible casino hotels in Laughlin, Nev. Located on the banks of the Colorado River, the hotel is three miles from Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport. This Laughlin resort is within three miles from the Emerald River Golf Course, Lake Mojave and Big Bend State Recreation Area. Hotel Features. Complete with a pirate-ship bar, tropical plants and bright colors, the three-level atrium reveals a tropical setting. With 65,000 square feet of casino space, the River Palms Resort Casino boasts one of the largest casinos on the Colorado River. The hotel includes 12 restaurants and lounges, retail outlets, a hair salon, a health spa and 12,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. The riverfront area features a quarter-mile river walk and a water-taxi pier for transportation to other Laughlin attractions. Guestrooms. The hotel's striking 25-story tower and three-story South Wing contain 1,000 guestrooms that provide views of Nevada's desert terrain. Hotel has seen better days, but service was good, both in booking and food service. Room needs some maintenance, but was not expensive and had great view of the river. Ate meals at the cafe; service was quick and food was great.
