My wife and I checked into the motel. We always check the bed sheets and bathroom for cleanliness. Well, this room hadn't been cleaned, so we got another room. The air conditioner didn't work, it was 95 degrees outside and the room temperature was 87 degrees.

We don't recommend this place whatsoever.

The primary reason for stay on Fourth of July was to watch the fireworks. I reserved a top floor room facing the fireworks. When checked in, we were given a ground floor room behind trees. Oddly enough, no one checked in to occupy the top floor room and we were allowed to change rooms in time to enjoy the fireworks display. The air conditioner was so loud especially when it cycled from fan to cool we could not sleep. With temperature in the high seventies to low eighties overnight we had to sleep with the windows open and air conditioner off. There were bumps of dirt or crumbs or sand or something under the bottom bed sheet. There were spiders and an overall feeling of un-cleanliness. The flooring in the bathrooms was tacked to the walls and floor from lifting. The caulking was old, peeling, patched and dirty looking. Since I am a disabled veteran I had a very hard time with stairs. There was no Elevator. I did not check my room when making my reservation. Had I seen the room beforehand I never would have paid hundred dollars. Actually, I would not have stayed there even if it was free, but my family's entire vacation plan hinged on these reservations. My wife and I stayed a second night because it was our anniversary. The Jacuzzi in the Jacuzzi Suite was quite small and only had three jets and only one of which was in such a position that it could be effectively used. We try to make the most and best out of every situation but our romantic, and only getaway of the year definitely suffered due to the accommodations of which we speak.
