Check-in was horrible. They put us in the wrong room. When we asked to change rooms all we got was attitude and they never brought the new key to us. I called the front desk an hour later and they claimed it was a misunderstanding.
Two elevators were broken. Over 700 high school teens stayed in the hotel. They were rude & immature and I don’t think they should have stay at what should be a nice hotel. I didn't pay $140 a night to deal with that.
The restaurant on site had bad service. It took over 15 minutes for the waitress to talk to us and she knew nothing about the menu and food. There were only 4-5 other couples in the restaurant at this time.
The pool was over-run with teens so I couldn't swim or go in the hot-tub. This was one of the reasons I booked the hotel too. It too over 20 minutes each time we used an elevator because the teens would press all the buttons or ride up and down them. We were on the 15th floor and it’s kind of hard to walk that many steps.
The breakfast was horrible with over-cooked bacon and under-cooked hash browns. They never offered a discount or free meal. They did offer a free desert or drink but we never received them. The bar way over priced, two drinks were $18.00.
They charged $12 for parking per day. That should be added to the hotel bill when making reservations. The staff was not friendly and they didn’t seem to know much!
The bed sheets were never changed even when asked for them to be changed. They only made bed. Wow, I can do that!
Our advice, couples looking for a romantic weekend, do not stay at this hotel. We were very disappointed. The only good thing about the weekend was the concert we went to & I got engaged! Lucky for them those events happened because otherwise I probably would have made a bigger deal about the stay.
