Six and one half miles from the resort is Bagnell Dam's Strip, which houses souvenirs, T shirt and crafts shops, arcades and restaurants. Lake of the Ozarks State Park offers picnic sites, horseback riding, boat rentals and two public beaches and is 10 miles away.
