Residence Inn by Marriott Worthington Hotel

There was a loud train that ran by the hotel all night making it very hard to get any rest.

We stayed at the Townplace Suites hotel which is an extension of the Residence Inn chain. We have been very happy with our extended stay. We have stayed way longer than expected. They have been very patient and kind to us and they have never questioned why we were there. They respected people's privacy.

The room was not clean. Plumbing was not in working order. I think it was a one-time situation but I am not sure.

We were supposed to have two suites. When we arrived, only one suite was available (despite our reservation) because a previous guest had opted to stay longer. So they gave us the suite and two rooms, and charged us the price of a suite and two rooms, which was significantly higher than the price of the two suites. The front desk help didn't seem sorry in the least for letting someone keep our room despite our reservation. The hotel was also directly next to a train track. The train whistled every hour all through the night.

The room provided was 50 feet from a major railroad line and the trains pass by about every 30 minutes. At night they blow the horn just as they get to the hotel. The hotel would not move me to a vacant room on the opposite side of the hotel so they offered me a room at a TownePlace Suites across the parking lot. The room there was not of the same quality as Residence Inn. By the way, I am a Gold level member and this seemed to make no difference with the management staff. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone...ever!
