Residence Inn by Marriott Westchester Hotel

Stayed here for a wedding in Westchester. The rooms were very nice and the bed was very comfortable.

We went to the hotel bar after the wedding and the service was a little slow. The bar was packed and they only had 2 bartenders to serve everyone. Drinks were ok, but you could tell they were light on the pouring. Food at the bar was only 'ok'.

The price was fantastic and in-room checkout was a breeze.

We booked this hotel for 8 nights, and had a mouse in our room the 2nd night. The desk moved us that night to a room that was available for one night only and then we were moved again the following day to a room where we remained for the rest of the stay. We did not receive any compensation for the inconvenience we experienced. The rooms are in need of updating; replacing stained carpets in the rooms and updating furniture & fixtures. The beds are not very comfortable. There is plenty of storage in the rooms. Three closets in all; so for a longer stay for 4 people the space was needed. convenient location to the train station with a 35 min ride into Manhattan, saves on parking expenses.

My stay was enjoyable and trouble free.

The location was by the train station, which was just a few blocks away. They have fresh baked cookies at least once a week, and have a fantastic breakfast and snack in the evening. The hotel cleaning staff is not very good and continually came at a time when we asked them not to. Our room was not made up until about four, which was a problem.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The room had a suite and a bedroom. The beds were comfortable. They had free beer during the week.
