I would give it a 10 but the Hotel needs updating the rooms are dated. I travel quite a bit and ALWAYS stay at this location. I do have a choice but the staff is so good its worth the extra money to know that I will be accomidated in my needs without having to ask.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. I had a nice and cozy suite with a fireplace. It is the perfect place to have your family stay, especially if you are budget minded. There are full size appliances and the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need. If you have physical limitations ask for a room on the ground level because there are no elevators.

This hotel made me feel content: They had a competent staff who were human beings, not officious twits.

I am very likely to return to the Residence Inn by Marriott Southfield.
