1) The price was higher than the posted price on the internet

2) They allow animals (big animals). As a pet lover, I think that is great but find the badly stained carpet and dogs barking all night unbearable.

3) Had two fire drills in less than 24 hours; 1 at 7am and 1 at 1am in the morning.

Luckily they were both false alarms - but there was no proactive communication from the hotel. If it had been a real fire, many people would have died - since there were no efforts by the hotels to get the guests out.

Also, the emergency fire lanes were blocked by parked cars.

4) I could list another 10-15 things, but I will summarize it for you:

The worst hotel I have ever been to in my entire life! Do yourself a favor - and stay far away from this place!!!

It's well located and has a good breakfast.

I will definitely stay in a Residence Inn again; but the rooms do tend to get a bit pricy, though.

This hotel made me feel respected: The staff courteously greeted me when I arrived. They also handled the problem with the heat. They cared about my comfort.
