66 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This hotel made me feel Respected: We were not looked down upon, were furnished with the usual amenities, and in general we were treated as we would treat others.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Residence Inn by Marriott Palmdale.
I might recommend it to friends.
