45 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
It was beyond expectations. The employees truly went out of their way to accommodate everyone. We enjoyed their light snacks and beverages they offered as well as their great breakfast buffet. The location is only a five minute drive to a nice beach on the Isle of Palms, so we saw a lot of families. The suites were very comfortable and homey. My husband and I would not hesitate to stay at Residence Inn by Marriott again, anywhere! We are frequent guests at the Marriott chains and we always find service and facilities to be as or better than expected.
This hotel made me feel pampered: All the little extras they left in the suite, like plenty of coffee and popcorn made us feel pampered!

If available, we always stay at some type of Marriott. They are all excellent. We've never had a problem with one.
