46 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I have stayed in this hotel often for business, and is the primary reason that I now stay only in Marriott hotels, especially Residence Inns. The staff makes me feel like I'm family and the hotel makes me feel like I'm home.

This hotel made me feel welcome: As part of their travel club, they knew the type of room I liked and they had a complimentary happy hour every night.

It was a very special occasion for me. I have to say that the hotel was responsive to our needs and I just simply fell in love with the place.
This hotel made me feel respected: They were very polite and made sure that everything was satisfactory for me.

They need new beds and better lighting. Also, a television in front of the window was annoying, as the room had a nice view.
This hotel made me feel secure: It was secure there, you needed a room key to get in after hours and several of the entrances required key access during daytime hours as well.

The staff there was very friendly. From the person who took care of the breakfast buffet, to a maintenance worker who took pictures of our group, to the behind the desk staff, everyone went out of their way to welcome us.
This hotel made me feel important: The group I was with, was a part of a holiday performance at the downtown Milwaukee Performing Arts Center. The staff knew this and treated us very well.

The check-in clerk had no idea what she was doing. She charged us for free items and refused to give us requested items. The reservation line attendant was wonderful and informative. The support staff made us feel welcome.
This hotel made me feel welcome: The support staff, namely at meals and when helping with bags, were so friendly and welcoming. They made conversation, remembered us from day to day, and seemed happy to talk with us.
