Residence Inn by Marriott Houston Hotel - Page 1

I've been staying at this location for 5 years now. I travel to Houston for medical care every month, once I was there 6 weeks straight. This is my home away from home. The service is great. If I've ever encountered a problem, which is very rare, it has been taken care of promptly and courteously.

They recently had major renovations and they are even nicer than before. It is always very clean. I wouldn't hesitate in recomending this Residence Inn to anyone.

This was an excellent place to stay despite what I've read on previous reviews.

You have everything you need to make your stay just as you would at "Home"

A hearty Buffet Breakfast every morning of which I hardly get the time to have daily. (You can hardly get to sit and have a full breakfast daily with the hustle and bustle of life), but it is provided for the guests.

Free internet. Much needed to conduct your business transactions while away from home.

Clean rooms, everything you need from diswasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot etc.

The staff was very hospitable

I enjoyed my stay and would do it all over again if I had the opportunity.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My mother stayed there for three months because my dad was in the hospital in Houston and I went to help her out for a couple of weeks. The staff even sent a birthday bouquet to my mom. Everyone was very helpful in this difficult time.

This hotel made me feel respected: The staff got to know us and called us by name. They asked us how we were doing each day.

The staff handled an extremely full hotel (hurricane evacuation) extremely well. They added entertainment events for refugee families with children. They clearly communicated changes to services and the reasons. Our only problem was with card keys, and we received help immediately. The hotel is convenient and had lots of parking. There were huge divots in the driveways for storm drains (drive carefully). It had a friendly staff. They brought in corporate staff to aid with refugees' needs. Every request was responded to promptly -- even with a full house. They also allow pets!

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They have comfortable rooms and pleasant grounds. It was kept quiet after 10 PM with a full house and lots of dogs and kids. I liked the very comfortable bed.
