Residence Inn by Marriott Glendale Hotel - Page 1

I stayed for twelve nights. They had dirty rooms and the response from the hotel front desk management was slow. Their billing policy was terrible with frequent changes to my corporate credit card. I will never stay there again and have written a stern letter to Marriott concerning this location.

I stayed at this establishment last night, as it was recommended by the wedding party. The rugs in the room were worn in spots, it was a smoking room but had no ashtrays, there was no ice bucket and the refrigerator did not have an icemaker, there were no toiletries in the bathroom, just a bar of soap, and the remote was not functioning as we were unable to purchase any pay-per-view movies.

When we called the night man on duty, he was not helpful at all, in fact he said that it was our remote that was not working as if it belonged to us, and not the hotel. He did nothing to rectify the problems we had. I would have expected more from a Marriot property and will never stay there again and will think twice before staying at a Marriot property anywhere if this is the service I can expect.

I wish they had designed the Residence Inn with one bedrooms available on the lower level. Not everyone is capable to climb stairs to reach their room, and there are no elevators for the style of the building.

This hotel made me feel respected: My room was available and ready when I arrived. I was allowed a late check-out as I had a business telecom to complete the morning I checked out.
