I have also stayed at one in Orlando and it was fabulous.
This hotel made me feel secure: Need to swipe card to enter, no open corridors. I felt safe given the proximity to d.c.

It was kind of odd-- there was a happy hour of sorts that didn't seem to make sense. The gym was located very out of the way and was creepy-- didn't stay to work out. The breakfast was wonderful.
This hotel made me feel respected: The front desk staff were very efficient and friendly. With the exception of one lady, all immediately gave you their attention when you approached the desk.

The TV was messed up and had to get someone to come fix it. The staff wasn't very familiar with area restaurants. Shuttle service, however, was more than expected. Great shuttle service!
