Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte Hotel

The breakfast buffet and the fresh cookies at the front desk were pleasant ways to begin and end the day. However, when we got rained in, it was difficult to locate any nearby restaurants that were even open outside business hours, let alone delivering. We also had the in-suite dishwasher pull out of the cabinetry when we tried to use it because the maintenance workers had not resecured it.

The room accommodations were great and the location is very close to the Carolina Panthers stadium at walking distance, and convenient to downtown. The suite was very spacious and the staff very nice.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: The suite itself had two bathrooms and two bedrooms and was very spacious and well appointed, and I felt I stayed in an extravagant place.

This hotel made me feel secure: I felt secure there because they had plenty of staff, good lighting, and the side doors locked in the evening.

The walls have lousy insulation, I could hear the alarm clock next door.
