Residence Inn by Marriott Carlsbad Hotel - Page 1

The location was just right for where we wanted to use as a base.

The area was very beautiful and absent of city life. The staff was as friendly as next-door neighbors, but the hotel in general was understaffed.

This hotel made me feel entertained: During the first night, a couple of the staff invited me to a night of pizza and movies. They also let me stay up past curfew in the lobby with the big screen TV.

The location was fairly isolated from any residential area, that could be a pro or con. The rooms were pretty small and somewhat dainty, so it’s only convenient if you don't plan on staying long. The service and food were wonderful but they were just too short staffed to overlook. The best Residence Inn I stayed in was in Anaheim by Disneyland.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They had services around the clock and didn't mind helping out throughout the night. Also a couple of the staff bought pizza and rented movies for myself and them.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Smiling employees and attending to my requests.
