The room is great, quiet, and warm, and the staff is very professional.

This hotel pulled out all the stops to make sure that we were comfortable. I arrived on business in October, and I'm still here in December. I couldn't have found a better home-away-from-home. The hotel has a great staff, and an amazing breakfast buffet every morning, including make-your-own waffles! They have a light meal in the evenings Monday though Thursday. They'll even do your grocery shopping for you at no extra charge.

The only downside is its location. There isn't much to do in Meriden, itself, but the hotel is accessible to a mall by freeway and city streets will get you to grocery stores a few miles away. However, it's great for anybody traveling to Yale, and to New York City, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, which are only a couple of hours away.

The staff is professional. When I arrived, there were a couple of repairs that needed to be made to the room, but the maintenance person fixed them the next day and there haven't been any problems since.

This hotel doesn't know how to say "No". I couldn't be happier!
