The hotel had a good location, close to San Diego. It had great amenities, high speed internet service and lots of free food. It was very roomy inside. I felt like having my own apartment. I liked the extremely comfortable bed.

Parking is very tight here. The hospitality food is not the best compared with other Residence Inn hotels around the country. There is not much in the area so you will have to drive some distance off the property to find restaurants or points of interest.

The grounds were very quiet. We never heard anyone else in our neighboring rooms. It was great having a room opening directly to the outdoors but not right on to a parking lot. The grass and layout of buildings made it feel cozy. Although a lot of guests were staying there, we still felt fairly isolated. This allowed us just to stretch out and relax in front of one of three televisions after a long day of doing tourist stuff. I appreciated having appliances so that we could keep drinks cool or whip up a quick snack.
