The hotel was ok.It would have been ok for business, this wasn't business. Again the hotel is ok for business. See this was to be a romantic weekend not business.
Convenient location, magnificent breakfast buffet.Parking fees. A great place to stay, but I wouldn't stay there again. The $21 per night parking charge is outrageous and cost almost as much as the car I rented! Next time I visit Portland I'll stay...

I liked the great location, nice rooms and free high-speed wireless. My only complaint is that the bathroom had a fairly strong smell of mold. Service was efficient and non-intrusive.

I usually stay at the Marriott on Nation Parkway. What I have noticed is the lack of contact with the staff that I had at the Marriott. The staff was not acknowledging me by name or even recognizing me as a long-term customer. It is not appealing.
They went out of their way to secure my room and provide an extended stay rate comparable to another hotel I was staying at.
