Situated 5 miles from Disney and very close to Seaworld and Discovery cove, this is nice place to stay. The studio suites are very spacious, you can choose between 1 or 2 bedrooms, with separate areas for sleeping, eating and relaxing. If you are working, there is free high-speed Internet access. The hotels serves a hot breakfast buffet, and kichens in the suites are fully furnished if you prefer to eat in. There's an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, a sports court and an exercise room. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Seaworld and Discovery Cove, so it may be worth hiring a car to get to some of the other parks. The staff are helpful and polite, especially at the front desk.

Big room, full kitcken with dish washer, full frig with ice marker, dishes etc..Hotel 3/4 mile from Seaworld, 4.5 to universal and next to I-4. Hotel built well (concreate floors) and you barley hear I-4 or pool noise. Very good breakfast buffet with large sitting area and TV's. Pool large and slightly heated and only 5' deep in center with zero entry on one end. Hot tube very large and hot but has kids in it sometimes. Small outside bar with pizza hut express next to it. Has small store to buy drinks, food etc... Very well maintained and was being re-modeled floor by floor. 6th floor was just done labor day with 5th to follow. 4th floor starts 7 Sept 09. They keep one floor between guest and work that stops around 5 pm. Don't know why they are doing it as hotel looks great already!! Had studio with 2 queen beds with queen sofa pull out, work desk, dinner table and closet. Bathroom standard size and has curved curtain rod. Room had quite AC unit and ran cold at 69 degrees. They have laundry and game room with small gym. There's also some type of shuttle service that parks out front. You can also take the I-link on the street which you can tranferr to another bus @ I-drive and goes up and down I-drive. Awesome front desk STAFF and allowed me to change rooms due to car alarm going off every 20 mins 1ST night. Stayed 4 nights and loved it. Offers pretty secure FREE parking and NO RESORT TAX with room ket security to acess hotel. Overall, awesome hotel & would stay again!!

After reading many, many reviews about where to stay in Orlando with my family we decided on The Residence Inn and we were not disappointed.
Listen, it's a Residence Inn! It is not the Ritz Carlton. People need to be realistic in what they are expecting from a hotel.
The staff was amazing. They upgraded my family to a 2 BR Suite. The rooms were clean and the pool was awesome for the kids. What more could you ask for?
The buffet breakfast was great but you did need to get there early as almost every guest tries to rush down and get the free meal within the last 30 minutes. Guess what? It gets crowded. Also, unless you enjoy Pizza Hut, you may want to rent a car to go out to dinner.
The hotel was very close to the highway to get to Disney parks and is practically across the street from Seaworld.
If you are looking for a very solid hotel to take the family to then you will not be let down by this Residence Inn.
